E-POSTER viewing
Abstracts selected for E-Poster viewing presentation are requested to prepare ONLY an E-Poster which can be viewed at the E-Poster stations throughout the Meeting.
Electronic Posters or E-posters are similar to traditional paper posters, but displayed on-site on a large LCD television screen and are available for electronic viewing at all times for participants.
E-Posters will be available at the E-poster stations at the Meeting. Viewers will be able to easily find and browse E-posters and download the posters in PDF format when permitted by the presenter.
These posters do not require printing or production of materials – as your work will be presented electronically.
All authors will be contacted for all preparation details and technical aspects of E-posters.
HASHTAGS AND MEETUPS (VIA TWITTER)
Each E-Poster at ESPID 2016 will have a unique hashtag (#) which will allow you to comment
on E-Posters, start a discussion or contact another author. Contact the E-Poster author through Twitter by using the E-Poster’s hashtag available through the Mobile App. Each hashtag will include the 4 abstract number digits. Example: #espid16XXXX. Just click on the Twitter icon next to the E-Poster you are interested in from the Mobile App in order to contact the author. All comments, questions and requests relating to a particular E-Poster can be found by searching for the unique hashtag on Twitter. To use this facility, participants who have not previously used Twitter will need to download the Twitter App to their personal device or locate the Twitter website on their web browser and register.
E-POSTER DISCUSSION SESSIONS
Parallel E-Poster Discussion Presentations will be given on Thursday, May 12th and Friday, May 13th. All participants are invited to the E-Poster Viewing Stations to hear the short presentations and to ask questions. Each E-Poster Discussion Session will be guided by one moderator.
Presenters should be at the E-Poster viewing stations 10 minutes before the start of the E-Poster Discussion Session and remain there until the session has finished. Each presenter has been allocated 7 minutes to present his/her E-Poster, which include 2 minutes for discussion. E-Poster Discussion presenters are requested to prepare ONLY an E-Poster.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF E-POSTERS
ESPID no longer uses traditional poster boards. Instead posters are made available to participants through numerous large electronic screens sited in the congress centre throughout the Meeting. Any E-Poster can be viewed on any screen at any time. In addition, all the E-Posters will be accessible to all participants via the Meeting app during and after the Meeting.
Accordingly you will not need to bring a poster with you, nor to print one in Brighton, but it will be essential for you to prepare you E-Poster in good time and upload it before the Meeting starts.
- Participants will have the opportunity to view abstracts via the Meeting website and E-Posters via the Mobile App during the Meeting.
