Abstract Submission Deadline: January 20, 2016

Abstract Notification: Beginning of March 2016

Please note that there will be no extension for abstract submission and no late-breaking abstract submission.

ESPID 2016 is pleased to announce its new abstract submission system for the upcoming Meeting in Brighton!

1. Topic Selection:

You will first need to select your abstract topic. To view the ESPID 2016 abstract topics, please click here.

Please choose one of the topics for your abstract. The categories overlap – choose the one that you think fits best.

Categories preceded by the letter "S" map to one of the PLENARY SESSIONS OR themed symposia of the Meeting. If you choose one of these categories your abstract MAY be considered for oral presentation at the relevant symposium.

NEW! Meet the Professor Case Submission via the abstract submission system.

The ESPID “Meet the Professor Sessions" at the 2016 Meeting will consist of interactive case-based discussions each with a coordinator who will select and present cases and either one or two expert discussants.

Should you wish to have your abstract considered as an educational or controversial case in one of these sessions, please select the Theme: Clinical Education: A case or Case Series Report, and the relevant Meet the Professor Session topic (out of the topics preceded by the letters "MTP"), from the dropdown menu in the abstract submission system. If you choose one of these categories your abstract MAY be considered for case presentation in one of the relevant MTP sessions.

For additional instructions on how to submit a case to one of the Meet the Professor sessions, please click here.

2. Stream Preference:

Within the abstract submission system, please choose an option from one of the forms below which best describes the nature of your abstract. It is very important that you choose the correct submission form in order for your abstract to be placed in the correct stream. This will allow it to be compared with other similar abstracts and will maximise its chances of selection. It will also affect the information you are asked to provide with your abstract.
